Dear Dr. Thacker,
This blog is dedicated to you. Last semester, you were complaining that when your students study abroad, they never communicate with you unless they need something, and I promised that I would write to you every day when I went to Costa Rica. Since then, multitudes of people have asked me to blog about my trip. Thus, I have created this exquisite piece of journalistic genius to accomplish these two purposes for the price (and time commitment) of one.
